- Taking My Life Back by Rebekah Gregory
No matter what happens God is so very good
Lord, if this is it for me take me, just let me know that Noah will be okay.
If I make it through this my life will be forever changed.
God is not finished with me yet, angels were all around us. (wrote to her mom in the hospital)
I’m cutting off what’s holding me back. I’m going to get a fake leg and when I do, I’m going to do everything I didn’t do with my real leg.
I realized I took my legs and my life for granted for 26 years.
Reality hit me when I had to be still and do nothing.
I realized how precious every single moment of our lives need to be.
No matter what I’m going through someone else is going through something more.
I don’t feel like any of my obstacles are greater than anyone else’s, this is the life I’ve been given. I can decided if it’s going to defeat me or I’m going to come out stronger.
Look at the beauty of everyday and not my problems. Count my blessing not my problems.
It took a bomb to put my life back into focus.
My problems may be great but God is always bigger.
I hope people realize that there is something bigger and God is very real.
I am saved because I am a sinner
My fears are real but so is my strength.
